Dear fans of historical technology,
for the 2013 season, we prepared another unique exhibition! If you visit the Veteran Arena, you can see more than 600 historical radios, gramophones and radio-gramophones!

Radios and gramophones of American, European and Czechoslovak origin are loaned from private collections and they all together are exhibited for the first time in the Czech Republic. Among the rare exhibits belongs one of the first models of radios Atwater Kent 10C from 1924 with funneled speaker and technical rarities such as the U.S. farm radios, unique box-radiogramophones, Czech radio Talisman, etc.

Among furthter exhibits belong some of the earliest versions of American gramophones with handle, electrical gramophones and also famous Edison’s phonograph.

Visitors have the opportunity to compare the production and the design between European and Americanproducers.

From czech production are there for example apparatusses of the concern Tesla (TEchnika SLAboproudá). It was once one of the biggest European producers of  communication engineering.

Exhibition of historical radios is available until 30 November 2014 (except the technical break)

Veteran Arena is already open from March 29, 2013 and is fully prepared for Easter visitors. Opening including Easter Monday.

Museum Veteran Arena participates in the Classic Show Exhibition 2013 (classic cars exhibition), which takes place in Wannieck Gallery in Brno  near the shopping center Vaňkovka.

The event will by held from 15.3 – 17.3. Our museum will exhibit the blue cabriolet Wikov 40

Come to see us!

The traditional ride up the hill Brno- Soběšice took place 29. September 2012. From our museums took part cars Praga Super Piccolo, Wikov 40 and motorcycle Breitfield & Danek 500BD II. series.

With nice weather and abundant number of participants was XXIV. conclusioin  season of the SKAM club Olomouc really a successful event. It was held in Olomouc on Saturday 6th October 2012 . For the last year’s common tour seventy-five crews were registered, and finally forty other machines joined.

This event is organized for all official historical vehicles , this year opened to cars to the year of production 1982.

Use the opportunity to visit the museum before technical break!
Enjoy a peaceful Christmas time and visit the largest private museum of classic cars and motorcycles of Czechoslovak production!

Still ongoing exhibition of historic telephones, telephone switchboards and accessories from the period 1890-1980.

There is also a cafe where you can refresh yourself and buy souvenirs related to the history of motoring.

Veteran Arena museum is closed during the period December 2012 – March 2013.
During the technical break the historical exhibits, especially motorcycles and cars are cleaned, polished,their function is retested. During this period we prepare new exhibits and change the exhibition. We prepare always something new!

Classic cars are excellently renovated and fully drivable and you can see them certainly on veteran events in 2013.
